Frame shape and resolution answer different questions
Aspect ratio describes the shape of the picture. Resolution describes the output dimensions and affects the generation quote. Selecting 720p does not automatically make a video vertical, and selecting 9:16 does not select the higher resolution.
Use the original option when preserving the entire composition matters. Original does not always mean 16:9: Topo Gigio's source is 720 × 590, while Storm Dance starts with a vertical source. Check the actual scene rather than assuming that every template begins widescreen.
| Frame | What it keeps | Main thing to inspect |
|---|---|---|
| Original | The full source composition | Whether its native shape suits your intended post |
| 1:1 | A centered square | Action cut from the sides or top and bottom |
| 9:16 | A centered vertical picture | Moving faces, hands and a second performer |
Two-person scenes need a full-clip crop review
Scenes such as the Hotel Lobby duo performance, the APT video template and the Alors on Danse dance effect can place people on opposite sides of a landscape scene. A vertical center crop can exclude one identity even if both portrait uploads are correct. APT also changes positions between shots, so an opening crop alone is not enough.
The Zombie Couple video generator follows changing scene compositions. Check the interior, close-ups and field sequence before accepting a narrow frame. If keeping both people is essential, the original frame may be more useful than a full-screen vertical post.
If you generate a Smalltown Boy duo dance video or recast the Rumpelstiltskin Tip Toe pair, check both characters during close-ups and position changes. A clear opening poster does not show whether hands, feet or a partner remain inside a later crop.
One lead can also move outside the center
The Bulin 47 video effect focuses on one foreground performer, but the lead can turn or move across the scene. The Topo Gigio AI Video Generator includes wide hand gestures beside the head. A crop that keeps the face can still remove the gesture that identifies the performance.
The current studio uses a centered crop after generation; it is not an editable crop that automatically follows the lead. Preview the source action and inspect the actual output again because AI movement can vary slightly from the source.
A vertical source behaves differently from a landscape source
The Storm Dance template already uses a tall 9:16 generation source, so original and vertical framing can keep the same shape. Its separate landscape case is not a preview of that crop. A square output removes some vertical space instead of cutting the landscape sides. Bulin 47's tall source is close to vertical but can still lose a small amount at the sides.
Vertical posts for TikTok, Reels or Shorts are a common reason to choose 9:16. You can also keep the original composition and edit the file later. Review the destination app's own preview for any additional crop or interface overlays before publishing.
Changing the crop does not lower generation credits
The quote uses the selected source duration and resolution. Choosing a narrow crop keeps the same generation charge for that combination; it does not pay only for the part of the picture that remains.
Before confirming, compare the length, 480p or 720p setting, crop outline and exact quote together. After completion, play the full MP4 and check every important face or gesture, then download the frame that actually suits your use.
