What a Tiny Desk AI video with sound includes
The completed Tiny Desk MP4 includes audio restored from the prepared source performance. Visual generation and soundtrack restoration are separate steps. Your photos determine which people appear in the band; the source clip supplies the performance audio.
A generated result can therefore show your friend as the singer while playing the source vocal. It is not a recording of your friend singing. The current template does not clone voices, accept a new song or create lyrics from a portrait.
Why adding original audio appears after generation
The model first returns the visual edit. The media workflow then aligns it with the source soundtrack and checks the completed file before offering download. The progress page may show an audio step after visual generation has finished.
Use the finished download to judge sound. A demonstration, a visual preview and the completed result serve different purposes. A silent intermediate preview does not establish that the final MP4 has lost its soundtrack.
Listen through the whole downloaded MP4
Check the file outside the browser player as well as on the result page. The browser may begin muted, a device may send audio to headphones, or the player may remember a low volume. Those playback settings are separate from whether the file contains an audio track.
- Unmute the result player and check device volume and audio output.
- Download the completed MP4 and play it locally.
- Listen from the opening through the band cuts and saxophone solo.
- Watch for a constant offset, drift later in the clip, and an abrupt ending.
- Compare the same moments in the public demonstration to understand the intended performance.
Original sound does not guarantee exact lip sync
Audio restoration preserves the source soundtrack. The model can still change mouth shapes, gestures or visual timing. A face that looks recognizable in a paused frame can have uneven singing motion during playback. Check the performance at normal speed.
If the completed file is silent or has an obvious timing problem, keep the existing request link and contact support. Avoid starting another paid generation just to test a volume setting. Include the affected timestamp so the problem can be checked precisely.
Check the file again when posting
Social apps can mute playback or change sound during editing. Listen to the post preview before publishing, especially after adding another music track. Keep a copy of the original download so you can distinguish an export problem from a later app change.
Generating a video does not itself grant rights to publish music. Use the footage, portraits and audio within the permissions you hold.
